About This Site

“Proto” presents Orthodox liturgical texts using open-source translation libraries published by the AGES Initiatives project on GitHub. It is non-commercial and intended for personal liturgical use only.

Service texts are offered in multiple English translation variants. Each page indicates which translator's text is being used via version designation tags (e.g., [SD], [Lash], [GOASD], [GKD]).

All translation libraries are published by their respective authors under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) license, except GOASD which is under CC0 1.0 Universal (public domain).

Under these licenses, the translation materials may be shared and adapted for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given, and any derivative works are distributed under the same license.
