Commemorating our all-holy, pure, most blessed and glorious Lady, Mother of God and Ever-Virgin Mary, with all the Saints, let us entrust ourselves and one another and our whole life to Christ our God.

O excellent beauty and decorum of the Fathers! O propriety of all Ascetics! You fulfilled all the commandments of Christ. Χαῖρε λαμπρὸν Μοναζόντων κλέος· χαῖρε πιστῶν ὁδηγὲ καὶ λύχνε.	Rejoice, glowing glory of all monastics; rejoice, guide and lamp for all believers.
Χαῖρε τῆς ἐρήμου τερπνότατον βλάστημα· χαῖρε οἰκουμένης λαμπτὴρ φαεινότατε.	Rejoice, the most delightful son of the wilderness; rejoice, most radiant lamp of the universe.
Χαῖρε, ὅτι κατεφρόνησας τῶν ῥεόντων καὶ φθαρτῶν· χαῖρε, ὅτι τὰ οὐράνια σὺν Ἀγγέλοις κατοικεῖς.	Rejoice, for you disdained all things fleeting and corrupt; rejoice, for now you dwell with the Angels in the heights.
Χαῖρε τῶν ἀθυμούντων ταχινὲ παρακλῆτορ· χαῖρε τῶν ἐν κινδύνοις ποθεινὲ παραστάτα.	Rejoice, speedy consoler of those who are in sorrow; rejoice, ardent defender of those who are in danger.

Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ, μνήμη τοῦ Ὁσίου Πατρὸς ἡμῶν Λουκᾶ, τοῦ ἐν Ἑλλάδι.	On this day we also commemorate our devout father Luke of Greece.
Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ, μνήμη τῶν Ἁγίων χιλίων Μαρτύρων, καὶ τριῶν οἰκετῶν, καὶ τεσσάρων Προτικτόρων, τῶν ἐν Νικομηδείᾳ μαρτυρήσαντων.	On this day we also commemorate the holy one thousand martyrs, three slaves, and four bodyguards who witnessed in Nicomedia.

May He who condescended to be held in the arms of righteous Symeon, for our salvation, Christ our true God, through the intercessions of His all-pure and all-immaculate holy Mother, the power of the precious and life-giving Cross, the protection of the honorable, bodiless powers of heaven, the supplications of the honorable, glorious prophet and forerunner John the Baptist, of the holy, glorious, and praiseworthy apostles, of the holy, glorious, and triumphant martyrs, of our righteous and God-bearing fathers, (local patron saint); of the holy and righteous ancestors of God Joachim and Anna, and of all the saints, have mercy on us and save us, as He is good, benevolent, and merciful God.
