Brethren, I appeal to you, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God on my behalf, that I may be delivered from the unbelievers in Judea, and that my service for Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints, so that by God’s will I may come to you with joy and be refreshed in your company. At that time, the collectors of the half-shekel tax went up to Peter and said, “Does not your teacher pay the tax?” He said, “Yes.” And when he came home, Jesus spoke to him first, saying, “What do you think, Simon? From whom do kings of the earth take toll or tribute? From their sons or from others?” And when he said, “From others,” Jesus said to him, “Then the sons are free. However, not to give offense to them, go to the sea and cast a hook, and take the first fish that comes up, and when you open its mouth you will find a shekel; take that and give it to them for me and for yourself.” At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them, and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” [RSV]

Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ μνήμη τοῦ ἁγίου Μύρωνος, Ἐπισκόπου Κρήτης, τοῦ Θαυματουργοῦ.	On this day we commemorate Saint Myron the Wonderworker Bishop of Crete.
Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ μνήμη τοῦ ὁσίου Πατρὸς ἡμῶν Θεοδοςίου, Ἡγουμένου Ὀρόβων.	On this day we also commemorate our devout father Theodosius, Abbot of the Monastery of Orovon.
Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ μνήμη τῶν ἁγίων Μαρτύρων Ἐλευθερίου, Λεωνίδου, καὶ τῶν νηπίων διὰ πυρὸς τελειωθέντων.	On this day we also commemorate the holy Martyrs Eleftherios, Leonidas, and the children with them who died by fire.
Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ οἱ ἅγιοι δέκα Ἀσκηταί, οἱ ἐξ Αἰγύπτου, ἐν εἰρήνῃ τελειοῦνται.	On this day ten holy Ascetics from Egypt died in peace.
Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ οἱ ἅγιοι δύο Μάρτυρες οἱ ἐκ Τύρου, κατὰ γῆς συρόμενοι, τελειοῦνται.	On this day the two holy Martyrs from Tyre died by being dragged on the ground.
Μνήμη τοῦ ἁγίου Νεομάρτυρος Τριανταφύλλου, τοῦ ἐκ Ζαγορᾶς μὲν τῆς Μαγνησίας καταγομένου, ἐν Κωνσταντινουπόλει δὲ μαρτυρήσαντος ἐν ἔτει ͵αχπʹ (1680).	We also commemorate the holy Neo-martyr Triandafillos from Zagora in Magnesia who witnessed in Constantinople in the year 1680.
Μνήμη τοῦ ἁγίου Νεομάρτυρος Ἀναστασίου, τοῦ ἐν Θεσσαλονίκῃ μαρτυρήσαντος ἐν ἔτει ͵αψϞδʹ (1794).	We also commemorate the holy Neo-martyr Anastasios who witnessed in Thessaloniki in the year 1794.
