Θεὸς Κύριος καὶ ἐπέφανεν ἡμῖν. Εὐλογημένος ὁ ἐρχόμενος ἐν ὀνόματι Κυρίου. |
God is the Lord, and He revealed Himself to us. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. [SAAS] |
Στίχ. αʹ. Ἐξομολογεῖσθε τῷ Κυρίῳ καὶ ἐπικαλεῖσθε τὸ ὄνομα τὸ ἅγιον αὐτοῦ. |
Verse 1: Give thanks to the Lord and call upon His holy name. |
Στίχ. βʹ. Πάντα τὰ ἔθνη ἐκύκλωσάν με, καὶ τῷ ὀνόματι Κυρίου ἠμυνάμην αὐτούς. |
Verse 2: All the nations surrounded me, but in the name of the Lord I defended myself against them. |
Στίχ. γʹ. Παρὰ Κυρίου ἐγένετο αὕτη καὶ ἔστι θαυμαστὴ ἐν ὀφθαλμοῖς ἡμῶν. |
Verse 3: And this came about from the Lord, and it is wonderful in our eyes. |

Ἀπόστολοι Ἅγιοι, πρεσβεύσατε τῷ ἐλεήμονι Θεῷ, ἵνα πταισμάτων ἄφεσιν, παράσχῃ ταῖς ψυχαῖς ἡμῶν. |
O holy Apostles, intercede with the merciful God to grant our souls forgiveness of sins. [Lash] |

Οἱ Μάρτυρές σου Κύριε, ἐν τῇ ἀθλήσει αὐτῶν, στεφάνους ἐκομίσαντο τῆς ἀφθαρσίας, ἐκ σοῦ τοῦ Θεοῦ ἡμῶν· σχόντες γὰρ τὴν ἰσχύν σου, τοὺς τυράννους καθεῖλον, ἔθραυσαν καὶ δαιμόνων, τὰ ἀνίσχυρα θράση. Αὐτῶν ταῖς ἱκεσίαις, Χριστὲ ὁ Θεός, σῶσον τὰς ψυχὰς ἡμῶν. |
Your Martyrs, O Lord, by their struggle obtained the crowns of incorruption from you, our God; for with your might they destroyed tyrants and vanquished the feeble insolence of the demons; at their intercessions, O Christ God, save our souls. [Lash] |

Τὸν Λόγον τοῦ Πατρός, Χριστὸν τὸν Θεὸν ἡμῶν, ἐκ σοῦ σαρκωθέντα ἔγνωμεν, Θεοτόκε Παρθένε, μόνη ἁγνή, μόνη εὐλογημένη· διὸ ἀπαύστως σὲ ἀνυμνοῦντες μεγαλύνομεν. |
We have acknowledged that the Word of the Father, Christ our God, became incarnate of you, Virgin Mother of God, alone pure, alone blessed; therefore as we hymn you without ceasing we magnify you. [Lash] |

Commemorating our all-holy, pure, most blessed and glorious Lady, Mother of God and Ever-Virgin Mary, with all the Saints, let us entrust ourselves and one another and our whole life to Christ our God. |

Ὡς αὐτόπτας τοῦ Λόγου καὶ ὑπηρέτας Χριστοῦ, τοὺς σοφοὺς Ἀποστόλους ἀνευφημήσωμεν, ἐν ᾠδαῖς πνευματικαῖς, καὶ ὕμνοις ἅπαντες πιστοί· τὸν Χριστὸν γὰρ ἐκτενῶς, καθικετεύουσιν αὐτοί, ὑπὲρ ἡμῶν τῶν ὑμνούντων, τὴν ἱερὰν αὐτῶν μνήμην, καὶ προσκυνούντων αὐτῶν τὰ λείψανα. |
All we faithful, let us praise as eye-witnesses of the Word and servants of Christ the wise Apostles in spiritual songs and hymns; for they insistently intercede with Christ on behalf of us who hymn their sacred memory and worship their relics. [Lash] |

Τοὺς Ἀποστόλους συμφώνως ἀνευφημήσωμεν, ὡς κηρύξαντας πᾶσι πιστοῖς τὴν ἄψευστον, καὶ ὀρθόδοξον τοῦ Κυρίου διδαχήν, καὶ ἐκδιώξαντας τὴν τῶν αἱρέσεων ἀχλύν, καὶ φωτισμὸν πνευματικόν, ἐκλάμψαντας ἐν τῷ κόσμῳ, τὴν χάριν τὴν τῶν δογμάτων, καὶ δυσωποῦντας τοῦ σωθῆναι ἡμᾶς. |
Let us harmoniously praise the Apostles as those who preached the sure and orthodox teaching of the Lord, drove out the fog of heresies and made spiritual illumination, the grace of doctrines shine forth in the world; and who implore that our souls may be saved. [Lash] |

Bride who knew not wedlock and ever virgin, we praise you with the godly eye-witnesses; because in you the Mighty One has done great things, your Son and God, who was from eternity from the Father, who dwelt in your womb and was well-pleased to be born that he might save our race from error. Τοὺς Ἀποστόλους ἐν ὕμνοις ἀνευφημήσωμεν, ὡς αὐτόπτας τοῦ Λόγου καὶ θείους κήρυκας, καὶ τῶν ἐθνῶν πνευματικοὺς σαγηνευτὰς σαφῶς· ὅτι προσήγαγον ἡμᾶς, εἰς τὴν ἐπίγνωσιν Χριστοῦ, ῥυσάμενοι ἐκ τῆς πλάνης, τὸ γένος τὸ τῶν ἀνθρώπων, καὶ Βασιλείας κατηξίωσαν. |
Let us praise the Apostles in hymns as eye-witnesses and godlike heralds of the Word, as clearly spiritual fishers of the nations, because they brought us to knowledge of Christ, delivering the human race from error and made it worthy of the Kingdom. [Lash] |

Disciples of the Saviour, godlike Apostles, who sowed the saving word to the ends of the earth, and shone on those who were sitting in darkness and the shadow of death, by your intercessions, O all-wise, enlighten my soul darkened by the blackness of the passions. [Lash] |

Lord, those who lacked wisdom put to shame the lovers of wisdom by proclaiming the mystery of your incarnation; fishermen stopped the mouths of orators and became the wise Teachers of the nations, who enlightened the ends of the earth with the light of divine knowledge; through them give us your great mercy. Lord, the Champions filled with the desire for the cup of your suffering abandoned all the pleasure of life and have become companions of the Angels. At their entreaties grant our souls forgiveness of sins and your great mercy. [Lash] |

Ῥῦσαί με ἐξ αἱμάτων, ὁ Θεός, ὁ Θεὸς τῆς σωτηρίας μου· ἀγαλλιάσεται ἡ γλῶσσά μου τὴν δικαιοσύνην σου. Κύριε, τὰ χείλη μου ἀνοίξεις καὶ τὸ στόμα μου ἀναγγελεῖ τὴν αἴνεσίν σου. Ὅτι εἰ ἠθέλησας θυσίαν, ἔδωκα ἄν· ὁλοκαυτώματα οὐκ εὐδοκήσεις. Θυσία τῷ Θεῷ πνεῦμα συντετριμμένον· καρδίαν συντετριμμένην καὶ τεταπεινωμένην ὁ Θεὸς οὐκ ἐξουδενώσει. Ἀγάθυνον, Κύριε, ἐν τῇ εὐδοκίᾳ σου τὴν Σιὼν καὶ οἰκοδομηθήτω τὰ τείχη Ἰερουσαλήμ. Τότε εὐδοκήσεις θυσίαν δικαιοσύνης, ἀναφορὰν καὶ ὁλοκαυτώματα. Τότε ἀνοίσουσιν ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριόν σου μόσχους. |
Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your great mercy; and according to the abundance of Your compassion, blot out my transgression. Wash me thoroughly from my lawlessness and cleanse me from my sin. For I know my lawlessness, and my sin is always before me. Against You only have I sinned and done evil in Your sight; that You may be justified in Your words, and overcome when You are judged. For behold, I was conceived in transgressions, and in sins my mother bore me. Behold, You love truth; You showed me the unknown and secret things of Your wisdom. You shall sprinkle me with hyssop, and I will be cleansed; You shall wash me, and I will be made whiter than snow. You shall make me hear joy and gladness; my bones that were humbled shall greatly rejoice. Turn Your face from my sins, and blot out all my transgressions. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me with Your guiding Spirit. I will teach transgressors Your ways, and the ungodly shall turn back to You. Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, the God of my salvation, and my tongue shall greatly rejoice in Your righteousness. O Lord, You shall open my lips, and my mouth will declare Your praise. For if You desired sacrifice, I would give it; You will not be pleased with whole burnt offerings. A sacrifice to God is a broken spirit, a broken and humbled heart God will not despise. Do good, O Lord, in Your good pleasure to Zion, and let the walls of Jerusalem be built; then You will be pleased with a sacrifice of righteousness, with offerings and whole burnt offerings; then shall they offer young bulls on Your altar.
